Smoked Macaroni and cheese recipe

Have you ever had smoked vegan mac and cheese? Try this delicious dairy free mac and cheese, easy to make and the best homemade mac and cheese we've had so far!
Ingredients
Pasta
- 200 gr. Macaroni.
- Water.
- Himalayan salt.
Sauce
- 1 tbsp Frozen garlic.
- 3 tbsp Olive oil.
- 3 tbsp Flour.
- 400 ml. Milk.
- 80 gr. Grated vegan cheese of your choice (smoked).
- Tumeric.
- Smoked paprika.
- Himalayan salt.
Instructions
Pasta
- Put to boil 1 litre of water in a cooking pot and add himalayan salt.
- When the water is boling add the pasta and stir well. Stir from time to time (follow the instructions on the package).
Sauce
- Pour 3 tbsp of olive oil and add the garlic. Cook for around 2 minutes.
- Add 3 tbsp of flour, mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Pour the milk little by little and stir all the time. Cook until it begins to have a thicker consistency.
- Add the cheese, tumeric, smoked paprika and himalayan salt. Mix well.
- Once the sauce and pasta is cooked to your taste drain the pasta and pour it to the sauce. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.
Notes
If you don’t have smoked cheese you can use 1/2 tsp of liquid smoke.
