A crumbl cookie can always be part of my sweet treats list, they are great as a snack or even for breakfast with a lovely cup of tea or coffee. FLAVORINGS FOR CRUMBL COOKIES

For these vegan cookies, I wanted to use a classic flavoring so I used vanilla extract. However, there are other delicious and flavourful options that you can use when making these vegan cookies. For more ideas to inspire you check the following list.

  • Dried cranberries.
  • Nuts: such as pistachios, almonds, walnuts, pecan, hazelnuts, peanuts, etc.
  • Vegan white chocolate chips.
  • Vegan chocolate chips.

TOPPINGS FOR CRUMBL COOKIES

Although you can enjoy these delicious cookies just as they are, you can always add toppings to this great recipe.

  • Almond butter.
  • Peanut butter.
  • Dairy-free cream cheese.
  • Jam and compote; for example homemade blueberry compote and apple compote.
  • Seeds. You can sprinkle seeds such as poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar.

In addition to these ingredients and vegan alternatives, if you want to make this recipe gluten-free, you can use gluten-free flour. For example, you can try almond flour or coconut flour. Also, you can add starch such as cornstarch and potato starch.
